20 Years of CSUCI
Camarillo is also home to California State University, Channel Islands (CSUCI). Established in 2002, CSUCI is fully accredited by the Western Association of Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). CSUCI offers curriculum in business, entrepreneurship, life science, mechatronics, and much more. The college also boasts a 22:1 student-to-faculty ratio and 83% of its students receive some amount of financial aid. The Career Services Department and Career Fairs offer strong employment opportunities for students and local employers every year.
Ventura County Community College District
Our surrounding community colleges offer employable talent and educational resources. Additionally, they partner with businesses to provide short-term employee trainings that can be taken individually or bundled, depending on your particular business needs.
Not only do the District’s colleges offer associate degrees, but students can also earn professional certification in high-demand sectors like advanced manufacturing, business, computer science, IT, nuclear science, and radiology technology.

University of Southern California (USC)
UCS is famous for its storied film school and the Keck School of Medicine, but it is also one of the oldest private research universities in California. Founded in 1880 when Los Angeles was a web of dirt roads and ranches, today USC is consistently ranked in the top 25 universities in the United States.
