Camarillo Parks

The Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park District operates 26 parks and 12 recreational facilities in Camarillo, each one of them offering a well-maintained green space to enjoy the great outdoors (and Camarillo’s awesome weather). Here are a few standouts:

R/C Car Tracks at Freedom Park

Since 1974, remote control racers have been zooming their small and speedy vehicles around the R/C Car tracks at Freedom Park. The tracks are maintained and managed by the Roadrunners R/C Club, whose members volunteer their time to keep the facilities top-notch. The public is welcome to come out and enjoy the race-day spectacle. Freedom Park also boasts a BMX bike track!

Bob Kildee Community Park

Skate park, pickleball, kids’ playground, ball fields, and an aquatic center, Bob Kildee Community Park has all that and more. This family favorite is one of the oldest and best-loved parks in the city. Bring a picnic!

Calleguas Creek Bike Path

(starting at Pleasant Valley Fields)

Enjoy an easy, out-and-back ride or a vigorous run on this 4.7 mile paved path. Or just stroll it!
